The Company
Bennett Associates is a privately owned Engineering Design Consultancy located in South Yorkshire. The work undertaken includes the design of bespoke machines for use in the steel, offshore, power and construction industries. In addition the traditional role of the Consulting Engineer is undertaken in performing feasibility studies, failure investigation, technical advice and as expert witness in litigation matters.
Recent projects include the mechanical design of prototype tooling for the A380 Airbus, design of welding and inspection equipment for the offshore industry, design and commissioning of millennium funded moveable bridges and the design of tunnelling equipment.
The long term goal of the company is to continue to produce world class innovative solutions to complex problems. To achieve this we require innovative and highly skilled draughts persons with drive and enthusiasm to grow with us.
The Role
- Will include mechanical and structural projects.
- You must be computer literate with sound AutoCAD experience.
- Good communication skills and an eye for detail are also essential.
- Experience of using Catia V5 and Solidworks 3D software packages would be advantageous although is not essential

Permanent positions and short term contracts available.
