The Company
Bennett Associates is a privately owned Engineering Design Consultancy located in South Yorkshire. The work undertaken includes the design of bespoke machines for use in the steel, offshore, power and construction industries. In addition the traditional role of the Consulting Engineer is undertaken in performing feasibility studies, failure investigation, technical advice and as expert witness in litigation matters.
Recent projects include the mechanical and structural design of prototype tooling for the A380 Airbus, design of welding and inspection equipment for the offshore industry, design and commissioning of millennium funded moveable bridges and the design of tunnelling equipment.
The long term goal of the company is to continue to produce world class innovative solutions to complex problems. To achieve this we require innovative and highly skilled engineers with drive and enthusiasm to grow with us.
The Role
- Manage contracts from concept stage to delivery
- Liaise with clients at the highest level
- Supervision of draughtsperson
Qualifications & Experience
- Good science based 'A' Levels
- Engineering based degree (at least a 2:1)
- The candidate should either be a recently Chartered Engineer or be in the process of gaining such status
